On the contrary, the larger the diameter of each wire, the worse the flexibility of the wire rope and the wear resistance of the wire rope. As a result, different types of wire ropes are used in different ranges. According to the actual needs of hoisting operation, generally, the following principles can be considered for the selection of steel wire rope:

(1) 6x19 steel wire ropes are used for making wind ropes, drawropes and lifting rigging. They are generally used in places where the bending load is less or the rope is worn.

(2) 6x37 steel wire rope is used to bind various objects, equipment, and to make rope for lifting. Applicable when the rope is bent.

(3) 6x61 steel wire ropes are used to bind all kinds of objects. Rope?? Less rigidity, easy to bend, used to receive. Not a big place.

The steel wire rope with the same direction twist, the surface is smooth and soft, has the good bending fatigue performance, is more durable; The disadvantage is that the break of the end of the rope strand is easy to loose, weight suspension easy rotation, easy to curl kink, so in the lifting should not be used alone. The hoisting operation is usually stored with interlay wire rope.
